Our Flagship Programs
Birth Tree
Whoever we are and whatever we do- oxygen sustains us all- was the profound realization for TREE’s establishment. ‘Birth Tree’ is a flagship initiative of TREE which represents a simple but powerful idea: whenever a new child is born in our community, we plant three trees in their name. We are not only celebrating the joy of new life, but also creating the culture of giving back to the planet that sustains us. This community-driven endeavor aspires to plant over 3 million trees yearly by 2030 in Bangladesh and to spread the culture to the world with unprecedented possibility.
Education Tree
Imagine 30 million trees taking root every year in Bangladesh, planted by school children across 1.5 lakh educational institutions in Bangladesh. The “Education Tree” initiative by TREE sparks this transformative narrative, empowering each child to plant one tree per year, breathing life into the value of “tree is life.” This pilot project isn’t just about planting 2000 trees in 10 schools; it’s about cultivating a generation of environmental stewards, driven by the knowledge that oxygen isn’t just a luxury, it’s the foundation of every future. As trees grow, so does responsibility, creating a green legacy fueled by tiny hands and big hearts.
Peace Tree
We believe tree plantation can build deeper level trust among diverse community members. We plant trees in mosques by the followers of Hinduism & other religion and in temples by the followers of Islam & other religion. We also believe that if we care about one’s most valuable belief/faith, s/he will do mine. We seek help from Emam and Purohit to play as the role of protagonist after the Jum’ah prayer, Puja or other religious festivals. This is a symbol of fostering a sense of unity and environmental stewardship within religious communities.
