Why Birth Tree?
Tree is life. Birth Tree Initiative is just more than a project; it’s a movement. It’s a story of children, families, communities, and nature coming together to weave a greener, healthier future, three trees per birth.
We urge parents to welcome their child by planting three symbolic trees- linking past, present, and future.
Long term goal
We imagine a day when each parent will plant trees to welcome their newborn. By 2030, we aspire 1 million newborn’s parents will plant 3 million tree yearly.
It nurtures a tradition celebrating life, supporting education, and fostering a greener future. Environmental stewardship is not one time action, rather a lifelong process- Birth Tree is just the beginning.
Impact story we build
The Birth Tree Initiative uniquely combines education and environmental stewardship by planting two fruit trees as a support to recurrent educational expenses and one wood tree as entry cost to tertiary education.
